Simar made the occasion special by having small bites with individual family members.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday as a family get together over a lovely dinner with drinks for the senior members of the family. Simar made the event excitable by poking in a lot of fun and masti around.

It was a shortest trip I had ever made to Punjab with my Family; life is running so fast, people don’t have time to socialize.

We took early morning flight from Mumbai and landed Delhi by 8.00 am, The Climate was good and it was a relaxed morning with energetic people moving around in the form Tourist Guides and Cab Drivers.

We still had 500 kms to reach Golden Temple, which is in the heart of Amritsar City. We had booked a Qualis for family convenience and ease of traveling for next 10 hours. We had good amount of fun chewing the driver about the place and the environment, some facts about the place.

We halted at a Dhaaba famous for its delicious food, we had grabbed some favorite Paratha’s following it with Punjab Di Lassi, believe Dhaaba food can easily beat the taste of an 5 Star Restaurant.

Now that we had fueled ourselves with great food, we moved a ahead towards Amritsar.

We passed via Panipat, Sonipat, Karnal, Ambala, Ludhiana(my native place, I love this city) , Jalandar and then reached The Great Golden Temple by 7.00 PM in the evening.
